Zelda Tatiana Ng is the epitome of the Drama Mama and almost everybody has some stories with her in it. The theatre veteran used to be a full-time actress with The Necessary Stage—that is when I first got to know her. She also has a lovely singing voice and spent some time performing on cruise ships. How could I not have a portrait of her in this series?
To me, Ngiap Heng has always been a serious soul. Even when I crack silly jokes, he will sometimes have a way to analyse my jokes. LOL! Most of the time, I’d be astounded and would have to turn around and say to him, “Hey darling, it’s a JOKE lah!” This song, 靜靜的月夜 (“Quiet Moonlit Night”), is dedicated to him. I love his sensitivity, but wish that he could also enjoy The Unbearable Lightness of Being . . .
