Like many of my friends in the arts, Nelson Chia is earnest about his craft. He goes beyond that by running theatre workshops for the local theatre community, as part of Nine Years Theatre with his wife. His company has not only deservedly won many accolades for well-polished productions, but also has broken new ground by collaborating with dance companies like T.H.E. He is someone with a forward vision for Singapore theatre.
