Kuik Swee Boon gave me some of my most memorable dance photos at the beginning of my career. For the first five years of T.H.E Dance Company, I shot many publicity and stage photographs for his ensemble, driven by Swee Boon’s vision. It has truly been a privilege to work with him for two decades. He could not dance for this last session because of his back, but he still made a few turns on the floor. So, we had a great catch up and his face danced for my camera. Swee Boon is a thinker, and at times he closes his eyes as he speaks. I had to include a close-eyed portrait. This session brought back so many memories.
